This exhibition explores work made by women sculptors utilizing repurposed materials.
SECOND LIFE : All Women Exhibition features Laurie LeBreton, Jill King, Bobbi Meier, Deirdre Colgan Jones.
These women artists all work primarily with repurposed materials, giving them a second life. Mining the waste stream they transform what is normally seen as ephemeral, temporary, valueless or disposable into works that transcend materiality, and ultimately challenge our cultural conditioning.
