Intersection is group exhibit featuring a vast range of sculptural artwork exploring the idea of intersection — whether it display is a formal joining of materials or processes; discusses contemporary issues of intersectionality in concept or content; presents differing or contrasting views within one united three-dimensional form or space; or emerges as a collaborative endeavor between two or more individuals. On display in the Chicago Sculpture International Project Space at 1912 N. Damen in Chicago, this exhibition celebrates multiples ways of working, expressing, and being, where artists reinforce the inter-connective nature of art and humanity within a shared, supportive space. Little, But Bold

Opening reception: Friday, November 18th, 6-9 pm


An exhibition of sculptural works 12”x12” and smaller at CSI Project Space (formerly 3D4D Gallery) Both conceptual & object driven work equally valued — unconventional displays encouraged. Often flying under the radar, small things have the special ability to bridge both private and public spaces.

Submission Details: Please submit 2 works max to info@chicagosculpture.org

Please note: We are asking exhibiting artists to cover one or more gallery sittings as we are an artist-based gallery strictly run by volunteers. All exhibitors must be a CSI member @chicagosculptureinternational


No fee for entry, if accepted, you will be asked to join our great organization- a satellite group of the @intsculpturectr ISC that publishes @sculpture_magazine and you will be eligible to submit to the many excellent exhibitions and opportunities we provide.

We are holding a handcrafted ornament/small sculpture swap Opening Night!! All attendees, old & young, pro or not, can bring an ornament/small work to hang for a VERY COOL SWAP EVENT!

July 15 - August 19, 2022 OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, July 15, 2022, 5 to 8pm

Often an artist’s most groundbreaking work comes from being immersed in a culture of study and intellectual pursuit. Chicago, home to some of the most globally revered academic arts institutions, could be considered a sort of proving ground for tomorrow’s most promising contemporary emerging artists.


By Degrees is an exhibit for artists who are enrolled, or recently (2021 or later) graduated from a degree-seeking program and who work in sculpture, installation, and media. Exhibiting Artists: Brian Divis, Spencer Gale, Musa Ghaznavi, Sarah Goodermuth, Elisabeth Heying, Riley Lauren Lynch, Lisa Nelson Raabe, Jeremy Plotkin Wong, Olya Salimova, Andrew Sokol, Christian Stone, Katie Williams, Connor Young.

And the hours for the run of By Degrees are Thursday-Saturday 1-6 PM The exhibit runs July 15th through August 19th, 2022 at 3D4D Gallery, 1912 N. Damen, in Chicago.
