About 3D4D

3D4D by CSI, Chicago Sculpture International, the Chicago chapter of International Sculpture Center, is an experimental art space focused on sculptural works, time-based and performance art in Bucktown. 3D4D is an artist-run space in Chicago with a mission to nurture art and artists from a variety of backgrounds. 3D4D aims specifically to engage young emerging artists whose work drives attention to current issues affecting our society. The art space opens under the direction of a group of Chicago based artists, composed of women, lgbtq and people of color. The multi-use space offers curated exhibitions, interactive art activities, and innovative workshops and outreach.

 

Officially, 3D4D opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday April 16, 2021

 


 

 

Mission Statement:
3D4D by CSI nurtures art and artists from a variety of backgrounds in an experimental, multi-use space offering curated exhibitions, interactive art activities, and innovative workshops and outreach.

 

Our Story

3D4D is an art space run by artists with the intent to develop reach and engagement with the community, bringing fresh perspectives through community oriented programming. 3D4D aims specifically to engage young emerging artists whose work drives attention to current issues affecting our society. Our art space opens under the direction of a group of Chicago based artists, composed of women, lgbtq and people of color. 

We plan to host curated indoor exhibitions, offer educational programming for professional sculptors as well as the lay public, while giving back through partnerships with local community and philanthropic organizations.

Get Involved

Call for Communications Manager: This position would manage the contacts (email list in Google contacts), actively seeks out new contacts to add to list, send email communication to various segments of our contact list (thank yous to donors, news updates, etc), help write and send press releases, write copy as needed.
 

Call for Grant Writer and Fundraising: This position will research NPO grants, manage a list of applicable grant sources for 3D4D, write narratives and collect required materials to apply, attend grant related events, help write applications and follow up reporting.
